Abstract
Concrete petrography is an important tool for quality assurance. In this webinar we use case studies to illustrate how we determine if the mixture in place matches the concrete mix design. This information is often pivotal for putting jobs that have issues such as low strength, early age cracking, surface defects and more back on track. DRP routinely uses innovative approaches with fluorescence microscopy and other methods to de-convolute the w/cm and other parts of concrete mixtures. See how these methods work through case studies that range from strength issues in pier columns to developing mix designs with new supplemental cementitious materials.
