ALL CHANGES REQUESTED PRIOR TO 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE EXAM DATE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A $100 HANDLING FEE.  NO CHANGES WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF THE EXAM DATE.

Bring a photograph ID to the certification center. Face coverings are required while in the classroom. The written examination is an open book exam. Reference materials such as original ACI Workbooks and ASTM/AASHTO standards are permitted in the classroom. Items subject to copyright infringement will be confiscated immediately upon entrance into the certification center. 

You may not use your phone as a calculator.  A calculator and No. 2 pencils will be provided for use during the exam.

EXAMINEES ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR, AT A MINIMUM, LONG PANTS, SLEEVED SHIRT, AND WORK BOOTS WHILE PARTICIPATING IN THE PERFORMANCE EXAM. EXAMINEES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PERFORMANCE EXAM WITHOUT THESE ITEMS.

It is the responsibility of the examinee to provide any additional PPE they deem necessary to protect themselves. PPE is NOT provided by the Central Texas Chapter.

Notes:

1. A WORKBOOK IS NOT INCLUDED WITH A TICKET PURCHASE FOR THIS EXAM. Workbooks can be purchased through the American Concrete Institute Bookstore: CP-44: Technician Workbook for ACI Certification of Aggregate Laboratory Testing Technician—Level 1 8th Edition (concrete.org). Please note that relevant AASHTO standards are included in the workbook. ASTM standards are not included in the workbook.
2. ANY MATERIALS THAT COULD BE SUBJECTED TO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT THAT ARE BROUGHT INTO THE ACI CENTRAL TEXAS CHAPTER FACILITY WILL BE CONFISCATED IMMEDIATELY!
3. If you are a Supervisor or Office Administrator enrolling an employee, it is your responsibility to ensure the above information is relayed to the examinee.
