Paul will be presenting on the keys to long lasting concrete slabs.  Attendees will be presented best practice guidelines based on current ACI standards and recommendations and personal experience. 

Paul Laskey is the National Manager of ConcreteInnovation for Sika US. He has worked in Civil infrastructure and Concrete for the past 17 years with areas of focus in Bridge and Tunnel projects, Stormwater Management, Highrise applications and Deep foundations. I am a proud member of the American Concrete Institute, the National Precast Concrete Association and American Shotcrete Association.

Paul graduated from Barry University in 2004 with a business degree and has worked in a variety of Sales and engineering related roles, including:

• Owning a masonry company for two years;
• Sales and Engineering support for Neenah Foundry (Wisconsin);
• Extensive precast applications, including precast bridge sections, abutments, and foundations as well as storm water structures; (Contech)
• Accelerated Bridge Construction projects for Contech Con-Span and US Bridge
• Bentonite mining industry with geotextile lining of coal combustion residuals and landfill lining applications. (CETCO-Minerals Technologies)
• Recently worked on the Hartford CSO tunnel and Delaware County Aquaduct tunnel (SIKA)
• Active Member of ACI, ASA, NPCA

Paul is currently working on integral concrete waterproofing applications as well as large slab-on-grade, CMD, tilt-up construction, shotcrete, tunneling, and mining applications related to integral waterproofing and fiber reinforced concrete.
